A Ouija Board Told Her How Her Son Vanished After Nearly 12 Years Of Not Knowing

TikToker Khandee (@justkhandee) retells creepy and bizarre stories sent in by her followers. Here is a story she's sharing from someone named Cleo.

When Cleo's son, Max, was four years old, he disappeared. For almost 12 years, she had no idea what happened to him. Then, she found out through a Ouija board that her son's godfather was the reason for his disappearance.

The night she found out, she was hosting a couples night at her house with friends. Her friends decided to break out a Ouija board for fun. They were all just drinking and joking around. No one took it seriously.

But when someone asked the board a question, the planchette moved to yes. The board also revealed their secrets. The secrets were silly at first. For example, the board called out one of her husband's friends for smoking again after he told his wife that he quit.

After a little while, they decided that they had had enough. But right when they were about to put the board away, the planchette began moving again without anyone touching it. It spelled out the name Max.

"Max had disappeared 12 years earlier, and the night that he had vanished was a night much like now, when we had friends over, and at some point, the door had either been left open, or Max had gotten it open, and he wandered outside," said Khandee.

By the time they realized he was missing, there was no trace of him. An extensive search was conducted, and Cleo and her husband were interrogated and eventually ruled out as suspects. Max was never found.

Next, the board spelled out the name Cal and the word "shed." Cal was Max's godfather, and he was there at the party. The planchette continued circling those two words. Cal's face paled, and he tried to end the game.

Someone half-jokingly asked Cal what was in his shed. Cal snapped back that nothing was under his shed. The entire room went silent.

Cleo's husband stood up and confronted him. Cal tried to backtrack and claimed that he had misspoken. He tried to leave, but Cleo's husband blocked his path.

"Cal completely lost it," said Khandee. "He started shoving people and yelling and saying that nobody was going to his property. Cal only lived three houses down from us, and we were at his house in less than two minutes."

Some friends held Cal back as Cleo and her husband tore up the floorboards of the shed. They dug up the dirt and saw fabric. When they pulled it out, it was Max's teddy bear that had disappeared with him. They called the police to search the shed, and they found Max's remains.

Apparently, the night that Max had disappeared, Cal left their house drunk. Max had wandered outside, and Cal accidentally backed over him with his car.

Cal panicked and brought Max back to his property to bury his body. Afterward, he returned to Cleo's house to pretend to help search for Max.

Everyone always says never to mess with Ouija boards because they can lead to terrible things, but in this case, without a Ouija board, Cleo would never have figured out what happened to her son.
