Most paramedics don't expect to walk into a house with some seriously evil energy, but that's exactly what TikToker Lillian (@lillianprefontaine), a paramedic, experienced during one particularly unsettling call.
So, she received a call for a 15-year-old with a psychiatric problem. When she and her partner entered the house, the atmosphere immediately changed. It was dark, heavy, and spine-chilling.
The 15-year-old was lying on a bed in one corner, and the mother was standing in another corner. Lillian and her partner split up. She went to talk to the teenager, while her partner spoke with the mother.
The mother and daughter said that they were struggling with the loss of a grandparent. The teenager stated that the grandparent often visits, but no one believes her.
"My interpretation of visits is like cardinals or butterflies or rainbows, stuff like that, where people correlate nature with their loved ones," said Lillian.
"But we discover that the grandmother practiced witchcraft and was very skilled, apparently. And the 15-year-old said the grandmother is just hanging out over there."
Lillian tried to reassure the teenager by telling her to keep talking to the spirits because they were only there to protect her. But the 15-year-old stared directly into Lillian's face, told her that she was lying, and even said her name.
That caught Lillian off guard because she had never told the teenager her name. Her name tag was also covered up. There was no way she could have known Lillian's name without the involvement of some paranormal activity.
The teenager's grandmother was telling her not to believe Lillian. Lillian's partner then waved her over to show her a video.

"The mother had shown a video of her daughter contorting in unnatural ways that normal people can't contort and speaking in tongues," recalled Lillian.
"And, it's at this point that my partner and I truly become scared. So, we ended up getting a refusal on the teenager, and we went out to the truck, and we immediately started praying and blessing and all that stuff just to get the bad juju off."
Lillian thought the services of a priest might be necessary in this situation, but the mother did not seem open to any religious assistance, so she did not suggest it at all.
In the comments section, some TikTok users believed that the teenager was dealing with demons.
"Demons trick people and appear as a familiar spirit," stated one user.
"It's not the grandmother. It's the demon that the grandmother received her information from, who is now traumatizing the grandchild. Generational curses," wrote another.
Sometimes, even professionals who are trained to stay calm in frightening situations need a moment afterward to compose themselves. Hopefully, the teenager is doing much better these days.
