TikToker Mary (@mary.leish) is sharing a story about her former roommate whose bizarre behavior left her questioning just about everything.

When her roommate moved in, she told Mary that she had celiac disease. The next morning, when Mary got home from walking her dog at 7 a.m., she found her roommate eating her leftover Parmesan chicken with her bare hands.

Mary told her that Parmesan chicken was coated in breading, and that breading contained gluten. Her roommate apparently did not believe her, leaving Mary confused about how seriously she took the dietary restriction she'd mentioned.

Later, she came home to find her roommate eating an Oreo McFlurry and chicken nuggets, which also have gluten. It gets worse from here.

"When I knocked on her bedroom door to tell her I wouldn't be renewing the lease, she called the cops on me, and when they got there, she told them I was threatening her and that she would show them the video because she had taken a video," said Mary.

The cops left after realizing there wasn't a legitimate issue to address. Next, her roommate told her that she didn't have a car because she drove a Tesla and Teslas couldn't be shipped to where they lived. It just didn't make any sense to Mary.

Her roommate also told her that she was living with Mary and not her best friend because Mary had air conditioning. However, she bought vent covers and duct-taped them over the vents around the house to prevent the cool air from coming through.

Lastly, when she was moving out, she plugged in the vacuum and asked Mary how to turn it on, claiming that she had never used a vacuum before due to her being so rich.

In the comments section, many TikTok users shared their own unhinged roommate stories. Clearly, sharing a home with someone can reveal sides of people you never expected to see. And those sides will make you wish you lived alone.

"My roommate borrowed my adult toys and broke the couch with her date when I was visiting family," wrote one user.

"She never washed her dishes; she shoved them behind the couch. Other roommate and I figured it out when we both kept getting sick and found the mold growing on the couch and the wall behind the couch," commented another.

"I had a roommate who would be up at like 5 or 6 a.m. and shower...fine, but she would sing opera at the top of her lungs. When I asked if she could please keep it down, she cried," shared a third.

"My metal spoons had burn marks on the bottoms after every weekend that I wasn't there. The aluminum foil would also mysteriously go missing the same weekends," added a fourth.
