TikToker @autumn.in.appalachia shares spooky stories that take place in Appalachia. Something really scary happened to one of her followers, named Callie, who wanted to put her story out there.

Callie lived on her grandmother's property in a single-wide trailer at the head of the holler in eastern Kentucky. The head of the holler refers to a secluded end of a small valley between mountains next to a creek.

Her grandmother's house was about two football fields away from the trailer. Her dad lived in a different house in a field on the same property. Callie also had a younger brother.

One night, Callie was asleep when her landline phone rang at three in the morning. It was her grandma calling, so she knew something must be wrong. Her grandma asked if her boyfriend was home.

He worked the night shift, so he wasn't home. But someone was pacing back and forth on Callie's front porch. Her grandma could see the man from her house.

Callie was half-asleep and thought her grandmother was just joking around. She hung up the phone and dozed off. Suddenly, the whole trailer started shaking violently.

Callie was frozen with fear, unable to move. Her grandma called again to report her porch lights flickering.

Then, she heard her brother screaming in the background on the phone. Her brother and dad were both at her grandma's house. They all saw something in the dark.

Her dad could not leave the house to help Callie because he claimed something was after him and was now on the way to Callie's place.

She broke down crying because she was so scared. She begged her dad to come get her. A couple of minutes later, she heard gunshots in the air.

Her dad was trying to scare off whoever or whatever this was. He announced himself at the door. She opened the door, and he kept asking her if she saw the creature, too.

About 15 yards away, there was a creature standing on two legs. It was about seven or eight feet tall, had a long tail, a black body, a burnt orange face, yellow eyes, and a single horn protruding from right above its forehead. It stood there, staring intently at Callie and her dad.

They barricaded themselves in the trailer and stayed awake for the rest of the night. Every time they looked out the window, the creature was still standing outside. It never came back onto the porch. It was as if it were waiting for them to come back outside.

"Callie said that it is, to this day, the most terrifying thing she or any of her family members had ever seen," said @autumn.in.appalachia.

"She said that this thing stayed there until the sun came up, and that even after it left, nobody in that holler slept for the next few weeks. They don't know what it was. They don't know how to explain it."

When her dad returned to his house, he found it completely destroyed. They believe that the creature had ransacked his home for some unknown reason.
