If you needed to have major surgery, but your spouse asked you to delay it because they couldn't handle your toddler, how would you feel?
This woman needs to have heart surgery, and she's started to feel terrible because of the clinical features she's encountering due to her condition as she waits to have that done.
She admits that her husband is worthless and ineffective when it comes to the kid that they share, and it's only getting uglier, not better.
"He chose not to be involved when our child was an infant (lots of bizarre abusive stories from that time period), and our child will not accept my husband overnight," she explained.
"Now that he’s a toddler, it’s even worse; just normal toddler behavior for the preferred parent, but my husband can’t handle it. It’s getting to the point where I have a lot more symptoms of my diagnosis."
Her parents are going to spend a month at her house following surgery to help out with her son, so she doesn't understand why her husband wants her to push off having heart surgery.
She wishes she could divorce her husband, but she's afraid that if she does and he gets custody of their son, their baby won't be cared for at all when he's with him.
"Like, my husband cannot handle any hard emotions that come along with parenting, despite me letting him suffer. I’m so over it," she continued.
"I am literally sick and still doing it all. If this were reversed, we wouldn’t even need his parents' help because I do it all anyway."

I can see why she doesn't want a divorce, as it could put her son at risk, but why not separate so she can take a break from the waste of space that is her husband?
I bet she could even move in with her parents, as it seems they are super supportive of her and willing to pitch in, which should be how her husband is acting.
She should not delay surgery, and it's so selfish and alarming of her husband to even make that request.
What advice do you have for her?
