If you got uninvited from your childhood friend's wedding after their fiancée got worried you would do something to wreck it, how would you feel?

Back when she was little, this woman became very close friends with a boy named Ryan, and their families were friendly as well. In fact, as they grew up together, their parents would all joke about how they would one day end up with one another.

Their parents teased them about being a couple, but they never dated. They were just really good friends, and when it came time to go off to college, they grew apart.

Honestly, she did always have feelings for Ryan, and after they graduated from college, Ryan ended up moving away to a different state, so she never had the chance to tell him that she had fallen in love.

Recently, Ryan announced that he got engaged, and it really made her realize that she and Ryan will never be a thing, which she's made peace with.

"His wedding is going to be back home (our hometown area). My family is [providing] the catering as a wedding gift. They are making the food for the wedding. There is no contract; this was supposed to be a gift," she explained.

"He called me yesterday and uninvited me to the wedding. He said his fiancée is uncomfortable with me coming since they know I had feelings for him."

"She thinks I will do something to cause drama at the wedding. I told him I would never do that, and I have literally never tried to cause problems in any of his relationships. I was still uninvited."

She was so hurt, and she went to her mom about being banned from the wedding. Her parents were furious and decided to boycott the wedding and rescind their generous catering offer.

Her mom reached out to Ryan to say that they had to make other arrangements for food, and then Ryan called her, angry about it.

Ryan accused her of being petty for getting her mom and dad to take back their wedding present just because she was no longer invited. Apparently, Ryan doesn't have the money or the time to find someone else to do the catering.

Ryan also said his fiancée was right about her doing something to wreck their wedding. She's left wondering if she should try to get her mom and dad to agree to cater Ryan's wedding even if she is not allowed to attend.

It's not like she knew her mom and dad would bow out of the catering after Ryan decided she shouldn't be at the wedding, so it's really not her fault.

Ryan is not smart, and her mom is a hero for sticking up for her. No, she absolutely shouldn't try to make her mom and dad do something nice for this jerk and his bride-to-be.
